MPM & Co. was founded on a simple premise: mission-driven organizations deserve access to experienced, strategic fundraising partners who will walk beside them as they bring their vision to reality.

MPM & Co. founder Margaret Perkins-McGuinness knows what it feels like to sit across the table from donors whose decisions can shape an organization’s future. With 25 years of experience in nonprofit and public-sector leadership, Margaret has raised and managed more than $50 million in philanthropic and grant-based funding supporting public libraries, museums, cultural institutions, and social service organizations.

Alongside her fundraising work, she has led major initiatives spanning education, digital inclusion, voter engagement, healthcare access, government affairs, and institution-wide strategic planning—shaping vision, strategy, and operations in complex public and nonprofit environments.

Throughout her career, Margaret has built nationally competitive fundraising operations from the ground up, guided multi-million dollar capital campaigns, rebuilt complex grant management systems, and guided high-impact public-private partnerships. She understands the pressures that keep nonprofit and public-sector leaders up at night—and the value of experienced, steady guidance when the stakes are high.

Margaret’s approach is grounded in strategic systems design. She develops fundraising frameworks and operational infrastructure that help organizations grow with clarity and resilience, blending analytical rigor, financial precision, and deep sector knowledge to turn ambiguity into durable structure.

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to fundraising. When additional expertise is needed, Margaret draws on a trusted network of sector-specific advisors—ensuring the right people are at the table for decisions that matter.

With MPM & Co., you gain a partner who understands both the strategic and human dimensions of institutional growth—and provides the guidance and tools to move forward with confidence.
