MPM & Co. was founded on a simple premise: mission-driven organizations deserve access to experienced, strategic fundraising partners who will walk beside them as they bring their vision to reality.
MPM & Co. founder Margaret Perkins-McGuinness knows what it feels like to sit across the table from donors whose decisions could make or break an organization’s future.
She has opened envelopes containing seven-figure gifts and twenty-five-dollar online contributions — and has celebrated both with (almost) equal enthusiasm. She has built financial models from scratch, navigated rapid shifts in the funding environment, and led organizations through moments of transition when the path forward was anything but clear.
With 25 years of experience in nonprofit and public-sector leadership roles, Margaret has raised and managed more than $50 million for mission-driven institutions. Alongside her fundraising work, she has led major initiatives across programming, public and government affairs, finance and administration, and institution-wide strategic planning — shaping vision, strategy, and operations in major public institutions.
She has built nationally competitive fundraising operations from the ground up, led multiyear capital campaigns, rebuilt complex grant management systems, and guided public-private partnerships. She understands the pressures that keep nonprofit and public-sector leaders up at night — and the value of having an experienced thought partner when the path forward isn't clear.
Margaret’s approach is architectural. She designs fundraising frameworks and operational infrastructure that help organizations grow with clarity and resilience, blending analytical rigor, financial precision, and deep sector knowledge to turn ambiguity into durable structure.
Her approach draws on experience across philanthropy, nonprofit leadership, arts and culture, and government relations, with additional expertise in public finance, conflict resolution, and AI governance.
With MPM & Co., you gain a partner who understands both the strategic and human dimensions of institutional growth — and who is deeply invested in helping your organization move forward with confidence.
